"Damn that was Close” This class is a review of problems confronted by firefighters and Officers at fires every day all across the country. They encountered problems that endangered them and their team. This class will review the common problems and how they affect team safety and fire operations. We will learn how we can predict them, avoid them or lessen their impact. The students will walk away with a better understand of what they face and how to properly prepare for the challenge of today's fires and meet them safely. It is with deep regret that we announce the loss of US Navy Veteran and Ex-Captain James Murphy, Sr. of Truck Company 1 from Hauppauge Fire Department. Ex-Captain Murphy was a 52 year member of his Department who served his community proudly. Visitation will be at: Moloney's Hauppauge Funeral Home Thursday 2/13 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday 2/14 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Religious Service will be held Friday 2/14, 8:00 pm With Firematic Services to follow at 8:30 pm Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More RC Church at 9:45 AM on Saturday Feb 15.
